13th Move Acomplished

Weight: 253.5

I had another active weekend, not of the fun variety. My GF and I moved temporily back to my parents house, about 20 miles away from our apartment.

It's a long story, but basically we needed to break our lease due to the presence of toxic mold on the premises. It would have been nice to have stayed until November 15th when we settle on the new house, but we couldn't exactly stay in that environment.

Anyhow, as I was cleaning and moving boxes I figured out that this is the 13th time I've moved since I first left home for college 10 or 12 years ago. Moving into the house next month will make 14. That better be it for a while...

I had another low weigh-in this morning: 253.5. I'm really thinking that I'm going to be able to meet my October goal by early next week. This coming weekend I'm going on a hiking trip and will be walking about 20-25 miles with 30 pounds on my back. If I do well this week with my workouts and eating I'm really thinking one week from today I'll see the 240's for the first time in who knows when.

So here's to a successful weight loss week for all of us!

That must have sucked to have to move just a month shy of your house closing...at least you had somewhere to go :)

Nice new low, youre on a nice track to hitting your goal. That must be really exciting.

That is crazy.... so on average you move more than once each year. That would drive me crazy especially since I have accumulated so much junk. You continue to amaze me how fast you are dropping the pounds. Keep up the good work... I am sure you will smoke your goals as usual.

Been there, man. I've had more addresses than anyone I know (except you, now). Moving can be stressful - so don't let it drag you into the 'I'm stressed therefore I eat' trap.

You're doing great, man. Keep pushing!

At least your address is no longer 296.5 Fat St., Manboobs, PA.

Moving sucks more than anything else in the world ever suckity suck sucked. I am so sorry that you have to do it again in a month. But the joys of homeownership. They're worth all the pain.

yeah, moving is really not fun, especially when you are moving for any reason other than a step forward.

Nice job on the new low!

I have been one lucky duck with moving, but the last time I moved I thought this sucks. So I couldnt imagine moving as much as you did. I bet the slimmer you get the easier moving is on your body though ;)

Your doing great with your October goal. Keep up the great work!
