Screw It

I took this pic the day I started this blog. I was going to wait and not post it until I had something to show for it. I've decided to put it up now so I can remind myself why I'm doing this every time I view my own blog. Part of moving on is first acknowledging what you are and what you need to fix.

It does make you feel more accountable and wanting to change it so you can look badass and cool like a bunch of the other people on the FAT blogs. Now if I can just work up the confidence to put it on my side bar like you. My pics are buried way back on day one.

Hey Brian, kind of off the subject but what kind of motorcycle do you ride? I sold my Yami FZ1 about a year and a half ago shortly after my son was born (responsibility thing kicking in). I sure miss it though. I bought myself a dirt bike and have been doing that some since. Let me tell you its two totally different ball games. Lets put it this way I am glad I did crash even a fraction as much as I do on the dirt. Anyway still love things on two wheels and was wondering what your ride.

It's a good idea to post the pics - if you're going to go for it, go for it. I can't put those pics in my boxers up, because my co-workers read this blog.

That would be.. awkward ;)

Hey Rip,
My current bike is a Suzuki Bandit 1200s. I use it to commute daily and for weekend rides.

I've had a bunch of bikes over the years, including an 86 Yamaha Fj1200 that I took cross country (Philly - San Diego) last year. I've had vintage Vespas (Still have a 76 Rally 200) several Honda CB's from the 70's, a 93 CBR 1000f, Honda Nighthawk, and an 80 something Suzuki GS750.

When I actually had garage space I used to spend a lot of time tinkering on this crap. Now I just keep running bikes around because I dont have anywhere to work on them.

How did you like your FZ1? I'd like to take one of those for a ride.

I loved the FZ1. Had a Suzuki SV650s before that which I really liked also. The FZ1 was definetly heavier, more powerful and wicked fast (more bike then my potential could use). I sure miss riding on the road. Maybe one day I will pick it back up again. I just fear getting hit by some old geezer and leaving my family with no support. I have always liked the bandit 1200s. I am sure they are similar to the FZ1, same class of bike anyway. Ride safe and keep the shiny side up.
